Coldwell Banker Commercial Jerrad Schendel Attains Broker License

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Schendel validates his experience, buying, and selling investment properties

Coldwell Banker Commercial is pleased to announce that Vice President of Investment Sales Jerrad Schendel has received his Broker License, among the highest achievements in the real estate profession.

After working in the industry exclusively for Coldwell Banker Commercial since 2015, Schendel chose to pursue a higher level of licensing, feeling that the advanced knowledge he’d gain would go a long way in benefitting his clients.

Making this high-level commitment to his real estate education, Schendel had to complete the required education as outlined by the California Department of Real Estate, including additional courses in finance and appraisal.

“Jerrad has attained one of the highest designations in the real estate profession by becoming licensed as a broker,” said Coldwell Banker Commercial President, Jason Lamoreaux. “In a relatively short time, he has become very successful, applying his expertise and market knowledge to Investment properties that consistently meet or exceed the investment goals of his clients. Continuing his real estate education says a lot about him and how much value he brings to his clients. It goes without saying that Jerrad’s contributions have been important to the continued growth and success of Coldwell Banker Commercial.”

In addition to delivering results in commercial transactions, Schendel has been quite active in the High Desert’s multi-family sector of the industry. In this last year alone, he and his partner, Vice President Bob Basen, closed 19 apartment investment deals and several other commercial investment deals throughout the High Desert.

Basen, who has mentored Schendel for several years, said, “Jerrad has always provided his clients with the highest level of service, and now his Broker designation validates his transaction management skills and experience managing, buying, and selling investment properties. He’s going to go far in this business.”

Schendel continues to regularly attend seminars and training to further hone his expertise in different area of the industry. His next challenge is to acquire his CCIM designation. “A Certified Commercial Investment Member is acknowledged as a leading expert in the commercial investment real estate industry,” Schendel said. “The coursework is very intense.” He has already passed the first step and will continue with the advanced in-depth curriculum. The CCIM criteria is extensive and culminates with the submittal of a portfolio of qualifying activities and resultant dollar volumes in the commercial real estate industry. The designation is received after successfully passing a comprehensive exam.

With significant transactions to his credit, including a recent $3. million apartment sale in Adelanto, Schendel has received various professional accolades including Coldwell Commercial Banker’s Chairman’s Circle and President’s Achievement of Excellence awards in 2016 and 2017.

Prior to joining Coldwell Banker Commercial, Schendel began consulting for private equity groups to purchase distressed properties in Las Vegas and the High Desert for re-introduction into the market. He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Business Administration and Entrepreneurship from University of Nevada Las Vegas.
