Bob Basen Named Coldwell Banker Commercial's "2017 Agent of the Year"

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

The story of Coldwell Banker Commercial is a story of leadership and success. Since its beginnings in San Francisco in 1906, Coldwell Banker Commercial has become an industry leader with the largest national network of offices with over 4,000 dedicated professionals.

On a local level, the story is still the same.  Coldwell Banker Commercial Real Estate Solutions was established by Jason and Chris Lamoreaux in 2009, quickly becoming the number one commercial real estate firm in the High Desert. Since the beginning they have rewarded their top agents and made a point of celebrating their accomplishments and hard work and this year was no different.

Vice President Bob Basen was awarded the 2017 “Agent of the Year”. Basen specializes in multi-family properties and vacant land, and is the division head for the multi-family division of Coldwell Banker Commercial. Basen, who celebrated his seventh year with Coldwell Banker Commercial, has been in the real estate brokerage and development industry since 1975.

Basen teamed up with Jerrad Schendel, who has a long family history in High Desert real estate two years ago and formed the Basen Schendel team.  Since then they have dominated the multi-family market in the High Desert and are expanding into the Inland Empire and parts of Southern California.  Together they successfully closed several major transactions this past year, including a 48 unit apartment complex in Barstow, a 12 unit apartment complex in Apple Valley for $1.445 million and the sale of a retail center in Phelan on Phelan Road to an investor for $2.3 million.

Basen was honored to receive the agent of the year award. It showed the dedication and commitment that his made in 2017 while working in synchronicity delivering client centric services while focusing on attention to detail and delivering goal oriented results that ended up expanding their loyal following of clientele.  The multi-family market in the High Desert had a great year in 2017.

Coldwell Banker Commercial also awarded Vice President Steven Thompson with the Chairman Circle Award.  Senior Vice President Ron Barbieri, Senior Vice President Nick Di Cosola and Senior Client Advisor Jerrad Schendel were also awarded with President’s Awards.  All awards were based on their 2017 sales and were presented at the company annual awards celebration last month.  Five year service awards were also handed out to Nick Di Cosola, Ron Barbieri and marketing coordinator Michelle Whitman.
